Rock climbing is a fun sport and one of the favorite extreme sports of the Fred Team, but even the road trip to the actual climbing site always seems to be an adventure in and of itself. So far, we’ve made it to every one of our destinations, but generally a few detours are to be expected along the way.
A few months back, we decided to check out the climbing spots in the Eagle Peak Preserve, an hour northeast of San Diego. Due to abrupt coincidence our only means of transportation was a tiny rental car with minimal ground clearance, and unfortunately, the final stretch to our destination was a dirt road in a seriously bad state.
I was privileged to travel with Fred-team in San Sebastian on mid July. I can honestly say that the Fred flag was proudly flying in the air along the common surf-megabrands.
The purpose of trip was really simple: to surf as much as possible. Previously I have surfed in Portugal, Bali, the Philippines and Costa Rica, so I’m not total stranger to the awesome sport. However, I’m still lacking the necessary practice and experience to ride larger waves or maneuver cool moves. But I’m very eager to learn more and more whenever I’m given an opportunity to travel to some beautiful place with decent waves.
Where do our website visitors come from? Well, here’s some accurate data from yesterday. It’s easy to see that we have done something right in Europe and US. Numbers are raising steadily and we can’t ask for more. But hey, what about Greenland? Zero visitors, man it’s hard to hide the disappointment!
